Stuck with you

Back in 2005, Tjeerd Oosterhuis, one of the best songwriters (and keyboard players) we have, called me up, as in personally, when I was driving home from another one of my very first prime-time television performances (no biggie, YES IT WAS! both the performance and the phonecall…). Anyway, he called me up…me…That in and of itself was amazing. First of all, how did he get my phonenumber? …yeah.
He was all ‘moved’, happy and thrilled that he’d watched me do my thing on tv, you know. Asking if I would come over and chat, hang out and have fun and maybe write a song together. I’ll never forget that. It was Epic. I went over of course. Duh. In fact, ever since, lots of times. We wrote this song together “Stuck with you”. Fond memories.
